Roy’s career as a drummer/percussionist began in New York and spans more than 25 years, including recording, touring, and live TV and radio broadcasts. He is a sought-after performer for original recording projects and has been featured with bands from New York to Florida, playing everything from rock to jazz, blues, soul, swing, indie and country. Career highlights include working on Broadway with Joan Rivers; developing the drum score and playing for the Off-Broadway show Theda Bara & the Frontier Rabbi; backing performers and groups as diverse as the Tokens, the Coasters, John Davidson, Tiny Tim, Leslie Uggams, Lee Roy Reams, Mike Burstyn, Lorenzo Lamas, Avery Sommers, John Lamb, and Johnny Contardo; rehearsing with Aretha Franklin’s band at the Saratoga Jazz Festival and performing as a percussionist with the Berkshire Symphony Orchestra. Roy regularly displays his versatility in a wide variety of musical styles, performing at theatres, concert halls and events such as South Florida’s annual Carbonell Awards ceremonies, the Classic Jazz Ensemble Concert Series at Lynn University and others. He also maintains a busy private teaching and recording studio.

His extensive live performance history spans countries such as Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, France, Germany, England, South Africa, Canada, Mexico, and the United States. Seamlessly blending communication with artistic expression, Roy leverages a diverse skill set as an experienced producer and graphic designer. This unique combination of disciplines is central to his current work as a PhD candidate in Performance Studies at Northwestern University, a pursuit that follows his Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and postgraduate studies in Communication.

Stephen Lombardelli is a lifelong multi-instrumentalist whose primary instrument is the tenor saxophone along with alto sax, flute, clarinet and keyboards. Born in southern New Jersey, Steve was a public-school band director there for 30 years. At the same time, he performed regularly with various local and regional acts at Atlantic City casinos as well as clubs, restaurants, and other establishments and affairs in Philly, New Jersey, Delaware, and New York. He has performed as a member of national acts such as Bill Haley’s Comets and The Trammps and has done studio recordings for such artists as Nils Lofgren and Rick Vito. Steve now resides in South Florida where he performs regularly with various artists and groups as well as solo and recording work there.
